Youth athletics training focused on strength, speed, and coordination for teen athletes.

Youth Athletics (Ages 10-16)

Youth Athletics is a structured training program focused on developing speed, strength, power and athletic movement in a way that transfers to sport.

In addition to functional movement patterns, we emphasize strength, speed, plyometrics and change of direction training.

This program is especially valuable for:

  • Off-season training
  • Learning proper movement mechanics
  • Introducing strength & performance training safely
  • Improving performance and building resilience to injury

Youth P.E. (Ages 5-16)

Our Youth P.E. class is a fun and supportive fitness class designed to help kids move more, build confidence, and develop healthy habits — without pressure or prerequisites. It's great for those who are new to fitness or just want to enjoy active time in a playful social environment.

Jiu Jitsu (Ages 5-15)

Youth Jiu Jitsu teaches kids how to control their bodies, manage resistance, and build confidence in a structured martial arts environment. 

It's an excellent complement to our Athletics and P.E. programs, and a powerful stand-alone option for kids who benefit from structure, focus, and discipline. We offer age-specific classes for kids (5-9) and juniors & teens (10-15).

Confidence, discipline, and body control—on and off the mat. Martial arts training that teaches kids how to move, think, and respond under pressure with control and respect.

How Youth Classes Are Structured

Each program follows a consistent, coach-led flow so kids know what to expect, build confidence, and progress safely—whether they’re here for fun fitness, athletic performance, or martial arts.

Youth Athletics
(Ages 10–16)

  • Active Warm-Up: athletic movement prep to elevate heart rate and reinforce coordination and mechanics
  • Strength & Skill Development: bodyweight strength and movement patterns, with weights introduced only when proper mechanics and control are demonstrated
  • Sport & Conditioning Focus: plyometrics, change-of-direction work, sprint mechanics, and short conditioning efforts that transfer to sport

Youth PE / General Fitness
(Ages 5–16)

  • Warm-Up Game: a fun icebreaker to get kids moving, comfortable, and engaged
  • Fundamental Movement Work: simple, structured activities focused on basic movement patterns
  • Games & Team Challenges: active games that build fitness, coordination, confidence, and teamwork

Youth Jiu Jitsu
(Ages 5-15)

  • Student-Led Warm-Up: guided warm-up led by students to build confidence and leadership
  • Technique Instruction: three techniques taught with explanation, demonstration, and safety considerations
  • Practice & Controlled Resistance: partner drilling followed by light, constrained resistance to apply skills safely
Coach-led and scalable: All youth classes are structured, age-appropriate, and designed to meet kids where they are. Please let your coach know about any prior injuries or limitations so appropriate modifications can be provided.
